Accommodations are a single room. The room is simple and neat. Towels and bed linens are provided. You will have your own private bath.

This facility is a total silence facility, although there are areas where you can talk, the nature of the retreat is for silence. You are encourage to spend the majority of your time in silence with God. The are several locations on the property and within the facility to sit and have meaningful conversation with another participant and as a group.

Phone usage is asked to be at a minimum.

Church services are conducted according to location schedule. The chapel is available for gathering of worship and prayer if desired.

Since this is a Silent Retreat, meant to draw you closer to your Lord, most of your time will be spent in solitude either in your room, sitting inside the building at provided locations or on the grounds. You can go to the website to see that they have hiking trails and gardens to enjoy.

Dining area is not a talking dining room. There is a dining room available if you want to eat with someone but I encourage you to sit with your meal and consider what He may be showing your through it.

We will gather at a specified location for reflection time and direction after each meal. I will provide some direction for you at that time and then you will be on your own until the next meal time. Start praying now, their grounds are beautiful and relaxing.

You will come away from this retreat with:

Things you may want to bring: Blanket or folding chair, Jacket (according to weather or for the evenings), Hiking shoes (if you are a serious hiker), Bible, Spiral notebook.

What to expect: Unless you have experienced a silent retreat before, this will challenge you. But the rewards of the challenge will be great. Strongly encourage you to stay off any type of media during this time. Take some time to sleep if you need rest. I encourage you to experience their service time, per location schedule, during the weekend.
