Philippians 2:3-4
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.
What does this look like Lord? How is this played out in my life? Am I aware of the opportunities and the needs of other to know when I should be willing to sacrifice? Do I understand the monumental sacrifice that You made for me and do I understand the need for me to sacrifice for others? But what if I need? Could possibly my need be filled by giving of myself?
Lord, I ask You! Thank You for sacrificing so dramatically for me and help me desire to sacrifice of myself. Help me to see what is being placed in front of me. Help me be willing. Amen!
