The Ant

Did you know that ants are so tiny, but they can carry up to 50x their own body weight. One day an ant was carrying a piece of straw and on his journey, he came to a crack in the dirt that he couldn’t step across. As he pondered it, the ant took the straw, laid it across the crack, walked across and then picked the straw back up. He used the heavy burden he was carrying get him where he wanted to go.

What burden are you carrying?  How could you look at that burden as a way to let it take you to where you need to go?

Luke 8:43-48  And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him (Jesus) and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked.

There were so many people around, shoving and pulling, so Peter tried to play it off. But Jesus said, I felt the energy go from me. And the woman with the bleeding came in faith stating that she knew if she could just touch Him that she would be healed.

vs 48 Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Can you imagine what a testimony that this woman had for the rest of her life?

What if we carried our burdens to Jesus in this way?

We trust so much, knowing all we had to do it touch his heem, PRAY, our burdens would be taken away.  What a testimony would I have?  Would you have?

One thing that I have seen is that people are fearful of telling their testimony due to others looking at them differently.  Remember, the only opinion that matter’s is God’s. We walk this earth for Him and no one else.  Your testimony matter, even if it’s to just one.
