FAITH

What do we have faith in?  With every decision, every step, every word and every thought, faith comes into play.

When we’re………

Studying for a test

Deciding what we want to be

Moving into our first home

Proposing……..Saying “Yes”

Choosing a job

Having a baby

Guiding that child

Dealing with Relationship struggles

Finding what we have in common

Walking through our days

Seeking out a church family

Consoling a friend

Covered with heartache

Illness

Lose of a loved one

Facing divorce

This list could on and on.  The process of life can be overwhelming! So …… What do we have faith in?  We all have faith in something each time we open our eyes, even when we close them we have faith we’ll wake up.  So what is it?  Who is it? Are we putting our faith in our teachers, ourselves, our spouses, our bosses, our doctors or our counselors?  It’s not that having faith in those things are bad but who is giving them their faith?  I say our faith should be in God.  Our ultimate faith, unlimited by our human nature. So sit a while and ponder….. “What do we have faith in?” Is it the ONE AND ONLY GOD?

Lord, my faith waivers.  I have to admit that I don’t lose faith in You, I simply don’t think about it sometimes.  I walk through my day just trusting that it will be okay. Is that blind faith or is it erratic behavior.  I want to be intentional with my faith in You.  I want it to be apparent in my every move that I know You are guiding my life.  I trust in You enough to not waiver.  I’m thankful!  Lord I pray for my family and friends.  I pray that they will put into practice intentional faith. Knowing that You are there with them regardless.  Amen!
