Don’t just know Him………..Live life like you do!
Philippians 1:21
For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.
In the book, “The Christian Atheist: Believing in God but Living as if He doesn’t Exist” by Craig Groeschel, he talks about ways that we (Christians) say we believe but don’t live like we do. This has been on my mind for several weeks and it just won’t seem to leave. The article poses the question, “Does the way you live reflect that belief?” That’s the question that I’ve been asking myself.

And why is that?
Do I live the life of someone that believes in God? Do I have faith in a God who loves me? Do I desire to be seen as a reflection of Christ? Do I give as Christ has given me? Do I treat others as I would want to be treated? Do I follow the direction that the Lord sends me and have no doubt that He will provide for me? Do I?

Craig Groeschel says “God wants you to act on your faith by living it out in every part of your life. That’s the only way you can grow closer to God and let others know that your faith is real, so they’ll be inspired to seek God themselves”.
Over the next 12 days we’re going to take a look at the 12 ways Christians don’t live like they believe in God, shown in the book “The Christian Atheist: Believing in God but Living as if He doesn’t Exist”.
Lord, I want You to recognize me, if I meet You at a convenience store. Help me to wake each morning and follow Your lead. Help me to let Your glory shine through me. Help me to rid myself of me, show that You can fill me up. Lord I pray that my family and friends will take a good look and ask themselves the hard question, “Do I live a life in faith of someone that believes in God?” Amen!
