Live Life: Shame #2

Live life in shame!!!!!!!!!!

Job 10:15

If I am guilty—woe to me! Even if I am innocent, I cannot lift my head, for I am full of shame and drowned in my affliction.

Psalm 25:20

Guard my life and rescue me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.

Isaiah 61:7

Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.

Romans 8:1

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus

When you believe in God but are ashamed of your past.

"If you want to give light to others you have to glow yourself." "For I Was Blind, but Now I See," by Thomas S. Monson, General Conference, Apr. 1999:

I love the thought of "Grace". If you want to know about it, I suggest going to lds.org and searching "Grace" By: Brad Wilcox. One of the best talks I have ever heard!:

Shame is real!  There are many things that can cause shame in our lives.  Some of the things we caused and some were caused by others.  But shame is shame and the Lord does not want us to carry that around.  He wants us to let it go but not necessarily forget the experience.  Our experiences can be used for good, HIS GOOD!  To help others that may be holding on to that shame.  God will not waste a hurt and He will give us the opportunities to grow through them by helping others find healing.  God is all about Grace not Shame, so don’t let it shape you just enhance who HE has made you to be.

Lord thank You for ridding me of the shame that I have carried around for so many years. Shame from experiences out of my control and shame from my own decisions.  But Lord I am grateful for what I have learned through those experiences.  Grateful that You have shown me a way to use them for good.  Lord I pray for my family and friends.  I ask You to help them see a way out of their shame so that they are more available to serve for Your glory. Amen!
