Live Life but won’t change!!!
Proverbs 3:6
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Romans 12:1-2
I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
1 Corinthians 15:51
Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
Revelation 21:5
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
When you believe in God but don’t think you can change.
Change is a choice! Regardless of what we have to over come, God will help us. There are several steps to change.
- Replace the negative thoughts with biblical truths.
- Replace people around that are holding you back with people that will walk with you
- Replace your untrust with Trust in God
Change is a wonderful thing when the change is for HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some people just absolutely hate change. Getting out of their comfort zone is difficult and scary. And to change………………… you HAVE to get out of your comfort zone. I have pushed myself over the last 10 years but intently over the last 5, to break out of the box that I had myself in. It hit me one day that I couldn’t be who God created me to be if I kept myself from being uncomfortable. Some times I have fallen flat on my face and some times I have soared. But all the time God was right there cheering me on!
Francis Chan quotes “But God doesn’t call us to be comfortable. He calls us to trust Him so completely that we are unafraid to put ourselves in situations where we will be in trouble if He doesn’t come through.”
Lord I come to You ready! Ready to be all that You have created me to be. Ready to say “YES” to Your call in my life. Ready! I am so humbled to be a child of Yours. Lord please be with my family and friends. I pray that they are READY! Amen!
