Clean Heart

Psalms 51:10

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit in me.

Have you ever prayed this? I have, many times.  I wish that it was a 1 time and forever request but regretfully, I embody a sinful heart.  So I have to continually take inventory of my soul.  Search deep within and ask Him to cleanse me of those ugly traits that keep me from fully living a life for Him.

And when I ask, I have to be ready for change.  Awakening with excitement of what His plan is for me.  I wonder if you would take this journey with me?

Lord, I’m grateful.  Grateful that You always are willing to pour Your cleansing rain over my soul and renew a spirit in me that is fully glorifying You.  I can not and will not live my life without being fully engaged with You.  Awaiting for You to use me and opening up my heart to receive whatever direction You give.  Lord, I ask You to pour that cleansing rain over my family and friends.  Help them to be open to You and make decisions in their lives that will show Your love to others.  Amen!
