1 Corinthians 12:20  

As it is, there are many parts, but one body.

There are many parts but one body.   Just as God gave me 2 ears, 2 eyes, 2 legs/feet, 2 arms/hands, 2 lungs but only 1 heart, none of the parts would work if the heart was not functioning.  We are all separate parts of the body, leader, organizer, picky, dreamer, encourager, socialite, patience, intelligent, bossy,  impartial, generous, forgiving, adaptable, fearless, trusting, humble , helpful,  reliable,  dependable, adventurous, and sarcastic and many more traits but together we make beautiful, one body.  Our natural traits can always be used by God for something wonderful.  We simply must remember that we are not here alone, we are a body of many parts.

Lord, help me to keep others on the forefront of my mind.  Remembering that for my gifts to be used at their best, I must allow others to use their gifts along side of me.  I thank You for creating us all different but fitting us together perfectly. Amen!
