Reminder of God’s Grace

As I always do, when I have a 3 day weekend in NC and I had to get with some of my friends.  And I was reminded of God’s grace on me.

We must never forget the friends that He has placed in our lives.  It doesn’t matter where you are in your walk or your location.  A good Godly friend is always there.  So with a dinner and some heart warming conversation, I was reminded that I’m not alone……………..EVER!  During our 4 hours of conversation we discussed Psalm 36.

This weekend we were blessed with friends for dinner and heartfelt conversation,  friends grabbing 40 minutes of time to meet us in a parking lot just to catch up and a friend giving of her God given talents to provide us with some much cherished family pictures.  And even a friend giving of himself to help in the time of need with a broken down truck on a Sunday afternoon. God gave us those friends.  A friend is a handful of Gods’ grace being handed to us.

This Grace is offered to you also.  In the wake of evil or in the midst of evil, Our LORD is always on our side. And has placed those friends in your path to offer that Grace up in handfuls.  You are NEVER ALONE!

I was reminded this weekend of how large God is and how plentiful His grace is!

How Precious Is Your Steadfast Love  biblegateway-com-logo

To the choirmaster. Of David, the servant of the Lord.

Psalm 36 Transgression speaks to the wicked
    deep in his heart;
there is no fear of God
    before his eyes.
For he flatters himself in his own eyes
    that his iniquity cannot be found out and hated.
The words of his mouth are trouble and deceit;
    he has ceased to act wisely and do good.
He plots trouble while on his bed;
    he sets himself in a way that is not good;
    he does not reject evil.

5 Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens,
    your faithfulness to the clouds.
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God;
    your judgments are like the great deep;
    man and beast you save, O Lord.

How precious is your steadfast love, O God!
    The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
They feast on the abundance of your house,
    and you give them drink from the river of your delights.
For with you is the fountain of life;
    in your light do we see light.

10 Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you, and your righteousness to       the upright of heart!

11 Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me,
    nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.
12 There the evildoers lie fallen;
    they are thrust down, unable to rise.

I am Grateful! Amen!
