Good morning

I’m sitting here in the car and it’s still dark outside. I’m preparing to head into work and do what God has laid out for me today.

I just wanted to hop on today and share with you something that happened to me yesterday.

One of my co-workers just walked up behind me and immediately gave me a compliment . She was pointing out oh God had made me. She didn’t use those words but she did speak of a skill that I have. I know that he created me so I’m aware of that. It’s something that he gave me.

I immediately turned around and said what did I do wrong? Why did I do that? Why could I not take the compliments and appreciate it for what it was.

I don’t know about you but in my world kindness hasn’t always been the more prevalent.

Her response was surprising.

I was reminded by that compliment. God made me like this, I need to embrace it and be grateful.

Just simply say thank you.

If you have trouble accepting compliments. Acknowledging how God has created you and embracing it. I encourage you to seek out scripture that reinforces his love for you.
