Be the Clay

It’s no wonder we resist to the surrender of God. According to the world’s definition of surrender, “to cease resistance to an enemy or opponent and submit to their authority”. We have been taught that this is a sign of weakness and giving up.

I challenge you to look at it differently. God is not our enemy or opponent. He is our creator. One who made us in His image. One who will always want the best for us.

Surrendering to the Potter’s hand, is like you becoming the clay, pliant and moldable. It’s not the loss of our hopes, dreams, and ambitions. It’s not loosing who we are, it’s allowing Him to create in us who we were made to be. Can you imagine the greatest artist becoming so set to create only what was in his/her head that they stayed as a child.

Surrender to Him now and allow Him to create something even more than you could imagine.
