Psalms 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God.
“Be still, and know that I am God”. In our busyness we must STOP! We will never hear His voice calling out to us, if our minds are full of the things/busyness of this world. Sit back, take a deep breath and empty our minds and feel Him covering us, penetrating our very being with His love, His wisdom, His goodness and His forgiveness. He is here within reach, stop and sit with Him.
Lord I rest in You today. My mind is overwhelmed with the things of this life and I need to rest quietly in Your presence. Give me Lord the time today to Stop! Help me to find peace in the midst of my craziness. I can’t stop my mind from wondering into the land of things I can’t control and I need Your solace. Lord I pray for my family and friends, that they will seek You through their stillness today. That they will stop and empty themselves so they can hear You. I am filled with gratitude for You. Amen!
