Peace

John 14:27 

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.  In a world that is in total chaos, the enemy striking everywhere and it seems that regardless of where we are, Satan has his hand in the mix.  Where do we go?  How do we hide from it? Is that even possible?  How do we let not our heart be troubled and not be afraid?  We depend on God and trust that regardless of our situations, He has our back.  Regardless of the pain that we encounter, He will heal us.  Regardless of the disappointment we feel, He will never disappoint.  So….”Peace, I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you.  Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid”.

Lord, I feel Your presence around me.  I trust You with all my being.  Lord, I have lived a lot a life, encountered a lot of pain and felt an enormous amount of disappointment but You have been faithful to me as I have been faithful to You and You carried me through.  I am so grateful to You and could never repay but will continue trying until I get to sit with You.  Lord, I pray for my family and friends.  I pray that they too will understand Your peace.  That they will look only to You and not to the world.  I ask You to hold them close in Your arms.  Amen!
