Love

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love…….. against such things there is no law.

From the beginning of time there was Love!

Genesis 1:27   So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.

Our Love is to be directed at the One that loves us most!

Deuteronomy 6:5  Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

Our actions are to be proof of our devotion!

Deuteronomy 11:1  Love the Lord your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

Our devotion for Him is meet with unwavering Love!

Psalm 6:4 Turn, Lord, and deliver me; save me because of your unfailing love.

Psalm 40:10  I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.

Then His love for us and our love for Him is to be shared!

Matthew 22:39  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

John 13:34   “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.

John 13:35  By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

1 Corinthians 13:4  Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

Ephesians 5:1-2  Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

1 Timothy 1:14 The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

Lord, You have shown me time and time again, Your love for me.  I am in awe of Your never wavering Spirit. I pray Lord that I will be willing to share that love with others and show them the Lord that will never fail them.  I pray for my family and friends.  I pray that they will look to You for the yearning of their hearts and they will find You there with open arms. Amen!
