Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is gentleness….. against such things there is no law.
When we act, do we act with gentleness?
Philippians 4:5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near.
When others are asked how they know us, would this be the description?
Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
He has treated us with gentleness and in our gentleness we give others hope.
1 Peter 3:15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,
Lord, I love You so. The grace that You have so freely and gently shown me is abundant. I pray Lord that I will show that same gentleness towards others so that they are able to see You. I ask that You be with my family and friends. I ask that You hold them ever so gently in Your arms and comfort them in the lives. Amen!
