When we are angry, are others seeing the Lord in us?
Proverbs 16:32 Better a patient person than a warrior, one with self–control than one who takes a city.
We read His word and know His expectations, are will fulfilling them?
Titus 2:5 to be self–controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
Even today, we are to be self-controlled?
Titus 2:12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self–controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,
What are we striving for?
2 Peter 1:6 and to knowledge, self–control; and to self–control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;
Lord, I have failed miserably at times. Consequences have been severe. But yet You still remain with me. I don’t deserve in my mind but in Yours, I am forgiven. Lord, I am grateful! Please with my family and friends. Lord I pray that they will exercise self control and seek You. Amen!
