Light

Luke 11:36 “If then your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, the whole body will be full of light, as when the bright shining of a lamp gives you light.”

There were times in my past when the darkness of my life was all around me, suffocating me and sucking every bit of joy out of me.  I was choosing to live in that darkness, believing that there was no way out.  Choosing to react to my circumstances negatively, without seeking out that which is good to help me find  the light at the end of the tunnel.  Accepting that this was the only life I would know even though it was killing me inside.  And then it was like a light woke me from my sleep and said “I have been here all along,  why will you not reach for me, I am your rescuer, I will not fail you, I will not disappoint you, I will never leave you, I will always lead you to peace, I will always love you….so don’t live in that darkness any longer my daughter……rejoice in Me, seek Me daily and I will restore your soul”.  There are people in our lives that are living in darkness and they don’t know how to find the light at the end of the tunnel.  Or are you also living in darkness, allowing Satan to keep you there?  There is a better way, a way out that is full of peace, joy, love and contentment. Be that light for someone or simply release that hold that Satan has on you and look up to the light Himself and He will fill you.

Father, I pray that today I will be filled with the light of Your love, that Satan will be rebuked and will not be able to darken my world.  That I will remember that You are my way out and I will reach to You.  I pray that You will give me the strength to continue down Your path of righteousness and as I’m traveling down that path I will show others the way to You.  Lord be the light for my family and friends.  Continue to pursue them and I will pray they will see it. Amen!
