Mercy

Deuteronomy 13:17

“and none of the condemned things are to be found in your hands. Then the Lord will turn from his fierce anger, will show you mercy, and will have compassion on you. He will increase your numbers, as he promised on oath to your ancestors”

As I look at this picture, I’m reminded how much mercy the Lord has shown me.   There are many reasons why this picture may not have every existed.  From illness to hard-headedness, so goes the story of my life, in an instant the picture of my life could have looked differently.    The Lord has surely shown me much mercy.  And now what should be my response?  Gratitude!  Never ending, always aware and forever on my knees gratitude!  I’m sure that each of you could share the same sort of story. Join me in a response of GRATITUDE to HIM!

Dear Lord, thank You!  Lord, I am reminded daily by the people in my life that Your mercy has been great!  I pray that I will live a life that shows those around me that I know where that mercy came from.  Lord I pray for my family and friends.  I pray that they will look through the memories of their life and understand how different the picture may have looked without You.  Amen!
