Live life but don’t believe in church!!
Isaiah 53:6
We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to our own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
1 Peter 4:10
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
Ephesians 4:16
From whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
Colossians 3:2
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
When you believe in God but not in His church.
From the most primitive to the most elaborate, there is one thing that they all have in common………… people! Full of sinners seeking God! He called us to gather together not perfect because a church is a body of people not a building. There has always been a church. The people may have met on a hill side, in a one room shelter, in a home or in the buildings that we now call “church”, but regardless, it was a building full of sinners. This world is hard to maneuver through and a body of imperfect believers will help us. God gives us each other to walk His path with. To hold us up, when we’re weak. To use us to hold them up in their sorrows. To holds each other accountable to live a life that He has designed for us. When we refuse to be joined together, then we’re robbing ourselves of a gift from Him.
Lord, I thank You with every fiber of my being for giving me a church family to call “HOME”. A place where I can be loved and love. A place that I can join others in the journey of becoming one with You and joining You one day in heaven. A place where I can freely be me, release my ugliness and feel Your presence next to me. A place that even in the imperfections will always be a place of being enough for You. Please be with my family and friends. I pray that they will seek out a place to call “HOME” with You. Amen!
