God Chosen Lives

Psalm 16:3

And these God-chosen lives all around— what splendid friends they make.

I’m overwhelmed with the blessings of my friendships. From as far back as 48 years ago, I so look forward to those still to come. Friendships are something you should always cherish and hold on to for life….God has put them in my life and they are spread from TX to LA to FL to NC to SC to IN to KY and many more.  So since HE cherishes relationships I should too!  I look forward to many more years of friendship here on earth and then beyond in Heaven!

James 3:17

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy.

Yikes that’s a mouth full. And usually that’s where I need to keep it! I may have some years on me and I may feel that I am wise in some ways but I know that I open my mouth and step in it. I need to choose my words wisely and honor God with them. And with those words honor the friendships He has given me.

Lord I pray that today I will use the wisdom that you have given me to glorify You and lift up others. You are a God of grace and I ask that I too show that grace to those around me. That I remember for every ounce of grace that You give me, I will give. Thank you Lord for Your great love and I pray that You will be my deciding factor. Amen!
