Electronic vs Snail Mail
- Texts- receiving a text smile might be the only smile someone gets today
- Cards – in the day of electronics the mail system is being used less and less but opening that mailbox and seeing something beautiful addressed to you is special
Today I did both! I have a friend that has been having a rough week, so a quick “Love ya” and “Hang in there” can be a real boost. Never underestimate what a couple of words can do for someone. Maybe even send a bible scripture for them to look up and feed their soul. I also have a couple of friends that have made huge steps in their lives and one involved a geographical change. I know that is a big leap of faith to let go and let God. So I sent out cards to encourage them to stay strong, stay in the word and stay faithful to His leading. It’s always been a joy for me to get something in the mail besides a bill or junk.
I also have the privilege to walk through life with some ladies in a bible study. Supporting each other as we grow in our knowledge of Him and learning to value self.
So I urge you to reach out and share what God has taught you and what He is continuing to teach you. There is someone out there looking to learn the same lesson. Walk with them!
