Shiver

Psalms 5:12

For You, O LORD, will bless the righteous; with favor You will surround him as with a shield.

When walking in the dark, we can not see. Fear begins to surround us and causing us to shiver. We let our fear control our every thought and our choice for our next move is motivated by that fear.  But the bible tells us that the Lord will surround us as with a shield.  He will protect us even in the densest of darkness. Simply believe and follow Him and all fear will be removed.

Lord I am so grateful for the light that you have provided for me.  The fears that used to control me are gone.  And when Satan tries to cover me again, I’m able to quickly grab a hold of my knowledge of You to shield me.  Never a greater blessing than Your love for me.   Please be with my family and friends Lord. Help them know of that protection so that they will no longer be controlled by fear. Amen!
