1 Peter 2:9
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.
From the time we start processing our thoughts, the secrets begin. The older we get the deeper and darker they can tend to be. Sometimes totally engulfing us like a title wave and destroys everything in it’s path. But sometimes those deep dark secrets simply linger there, letting us tip our toes in, teasing us, taunting us, enticing us, shaming us and welcoming us until we break and the flood of that wave releases. Either way there is destruction. But there is a way out of that destruction. One that is free of secrets, free of darkness and wide open to LIGHT.
GOD, JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT
Invite him in! I did and it is beautiful on this side of the destruction.
Lord, thank You for the way out. Thank You for being my Savior above all. Thank You for not caring what was in my darkness. Thank You for showing me Your light. Lord I ask that I will be BRAVE. Brave enough to continue to walk with You and share Your light with others. Share the change. Share Your way. Share their escape. Please be with my family and friends Lord. Help them to see that secrets are destructive. Help them to understand that they need You and You alone in their lives to lean on and shine Your light on their path to freedom. Amen!
