My inmost being

Psalm 139:13-18

For you created my inmost being;  you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.  How precious to me are your thoughts, God!  How vast is the sum of them!  Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you.

He created my inmost being; he knitted me together in my mother’s womb.  Like the flower in the picture, parts_of_flower(3)that he also created, each part, plays a vital part in the life of that flower. The Lord knows each part of  me. He planned me out and I was carefully thought through before I was even formed.

How could I not be grateful?  How could I not know how precious I am to Him?  How could I not desire to have relationship with Him?   I want my thoughts to be His thoughts!   I want my desires to be His desires!

Lord, I’m leaning into You closer than ever.  Let me feel Your breathe on my cheek.  Help me Lord to understand the deep love that You have for me.  And help me Lord extend that same love to others around me. There are many that need it.   Amen!
