Isaiah 64:8
Yet you, Lord, are our Father. We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand.
If you come to my home, you would see that I love my flowers. I have several locations where I have flower beds and contemplating adding another one next year for some roses. Each one is unique in shape, floral choices, color scheme varies some what but I love each one. I hand work the soil, hand placed the seeds or plants, prune where needed and weed out the invading grass.
I find that God does the same for me if I let Him. He already has done the preliminary work in forming me to begin with and now for the shaping, placing, molding, pruning and weeding out to take place. For me…………that is not always a fun process. I was telling a friend yesterday, that even sometimes it can be very painful yet a worth wild process. And I’m finding, it may be a process that I’m going through until the day I see Him face to face. But I’m grateful that I have a loving Father that is willing to take the time with me to want to mold and make a better “ME”.
So today I pray for you! I pray that you will desire to be molded, shaped, pruned and weeded. We are all the work of His hands.
Lord I am grateful! Amen!
