Still small voice

It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.

Isaiah 26:3

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

I can be one determined human being!  Almost trample over you to get what I believe is what is best, WHAT IS RIGHT!  At least that is how I used to be.  Now  I’m trying to look to God for His guidance and find my way  from that person.  There is nothing wrong with being determined and being willing to stand up for what is Right, but the process on doing that has been my issue in the past.

But I’m learning!!!!!!!! He comes to me in still small voice!

My gut is an indicator! The gut that God made. The gut that the Holy Spirit is working within.  I’ve learned to listen to that gut the Holy Spirit is working within!  Satan, you know he is REAL, when he is working, he confuses things, he stirs up,  upsets,  knots up, blows up and blurs the lines. But the Holy Spirit settles things, releases those knots and reminds me of the love that is present.  To hear that “still small voice” , I must be STILL.

I’m finding it easier and easier to know when I need to stop and listen and wait on Him to lead me!

So I encourage  you, when your gut gets in knots and things begin to get confused and the lines become blurry. Stop and wait!  Now that waiting my be 5 mins and it may be 5 weeks and it may be 5 years but WAIT till the Lord, the Holy Spirit, gives you a clear view to your next step.

Lord, thank You for giving me a personal guide. Amen!
