Philippians 4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last your care for me has flourished again; though you surely did care, but you lacked opportunity.
Flourished again. Hum…………. We are all on a journey to who God created us to be and during that journey there are going to be times of growth and times of just gliding through. He will be working in us through all those times but at the perfect opportunity He will use it to create growth. But we must be looking for Him. No hurt, no turmoil, no illness, no loss, no joy, no change, no day…….is wasted if we seek His guidance. We should never feel stuck in a bad situation or should never think we have arrived to our heaven on earth because the only thing that we are guaranteed is the next moment in our life here on earth will change our future. Embrace it! We need to get excited about what He is able to do with us. Rejoice in our change knowing that God’s plan is at work.
Lord father as I sit here, I’m recognizing that it’s time for change in me. I release my control of my future to You. I know that my tendency is to hold on tight to that which I believe to be true but I continue to learn that I don’t know as much as I think I do. Lord, I pray that I will embrace the changes that are happening around me and in me, admitting that I am powerless. You are a great and mighty God and I celebrate life in that one truth I know for sure! Please wrap Your loving arms around me, my family and my friends, so that we will feel Your presence. Amen!
